Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers in women. This refers to cancers that start in the breast tissue. According to a survey, 10.4% of all women worldwide are caused by breast cancer. This article explains Breast cancer Symptoms and ways to prevent them before it’s come.
Our human body is made up of many different types of cells. In order for the body to grow and stay healthy, these cells have to grow and multiply and make many more cells. When something goes wrong in this balanced process, more and more new cells are formed. Older cells survive beyond their term. These excess cells appear as tumours in the body.
Women can identify and self-examine their breast tissue, once a month or can go for regular check-ups by a doctor, and by mammography (Once a year over the age of 40).
Not all tumours are cancerous. Non-cancerous tumours are not life-threatening. Such tumours do not reappear if removed surgically; they do not spread to other parts of the body.
Cancer is not an epidemic. Men are more likely to get cancer of the lungs, stomach, intestines, oesophagus, prostate glands and women are more likely to get cancer of the breast, lungs, stomach, intestines, and cervix. Studies show that the number of people suffering from cancer is increasing every year.
