Remember polio? Exactly.

Vaccines don’t just protect one child; they protect communities.
Before vaccines, diseases like polio and smallpox affected thousands of children every year. Today, it is nearly eliminated because communities have chosen evidence-based medicine.

Misinformation spreads faster than viruses, but data remains consistent: vaccines are among the safest and most rigorously monitored medical interventions in history. Polio didn’t fade away. It was engineered out of circulation.

Postpartum depression is one of the most common maternal mental health challenges, yet many women suffer in silence.
Everyone celebrates the baby. Few ask the mother how she is really doing.
Between hormonal shifts, sleep deprivation, advice from relatives, and constant comparison on social media, the postpartum phase can feel overwhelming.

You are navigating a major physical and emotional transition.
Go gently, mommy. 🤍
And if you know a new mother, check in. Listen. Support her without judgment.
Maternal mental health matters.

No one really prepares you for what comes after childbirth, except another mom. 💛

At The Nesting Circle by Leto Centre for Health, moms-to-be sat down with moms who’ve been there for an evening of raw, real, and reassuring conversations about pregnancy, birth, and life after. 🤍

Moderated by Dr. Vaishnavi, Founder, Obstetrician & Gynecologist at Leto, the session featured Haritha, Saranya Gopinath, Priyadharshini, and Keerthana, our inspiring Mom Mentors who shared their unfiltered stories of motherhood.

They opened up about their own pregnancies, birthing experiences, postpartum realities, and the small things that helped them stay grounded through it all. From emotional highs to everyday hacks, the evening was full of warmth, laughter, and reassurance that no mom has to do this alone. 💛

Here’s a glimpse of those heartfelt moments that made the room feel like one big, supportive family.

Autism signs can look different in every child.

Not responding to their name.
Limited eye contact.
Repeating words or movements.
Strong reactions to sounds or textures.

If there are no meaningful gestures by 12 months, no single words by 16 months, or any loss of skills, consider early assessment.

Early identification of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) makes a powerful difference.

Almost every pregnant woman asks this.
And almost every time, the answer is simple.

She just got married… so how is she already a month pregnant?

Yes, it’s possible. And no, it’s not what you think.
Here’s what many don’t know: pregnancy isn’t calculated from the wedding date. Doctors calculate it from the last menstrual period (LMP), which can make someone medically “further along” than expected.
If you’ve ever wondered how that works, watch this video till the end for clarity.
Remember, biology doesn’t follow social timelines. And assumptions, made without understanding, can quietly cause harm.

Here are 5 chores you should avoid or get help with during pregnancy 👇

1. Lifting heavy buckets or grocery bags
Carrying weight puts pressure on your lower back and pelvic muscles, increasing the risk of muscle strain and even preterm contractions.

2. Mopping or sweeping for long periods
These involve bending, stretching, and twisting, movements that can strain your spine and cause dizziness, especially as your belly grows.

3. Cleaning with strong chemicals
Avoid exposure to bleach, phenyl, or strong surface cleaners. Their fumes can irritate your lungs and may harm your developing baby.

4. Climbing stools or reaching high shelves
Your balance changes during pregnancy. A simple slip or fall can be risky, let someone else handle those high corners.

5. Washing bathrooms or scrubbing floors
This needs deep bending and harsh cleaners, both are best avoided. Moist, slippery floors also increase fall risk.

Are you also scared of this little tool?

This is a SIMS speculum, used in gynecological exams.
It gently opens the va**nal walls so the doctor can see the cervix. It’s smooth and shaped to give the doctor a better view during a quick exam or a smear test. It looks a bit strange, but it’s just a simple tool to help your doctor make sure everything is healthy down there!

So next time your gynecologist picks this up, don’t get scared!!

Not every scan needs a full bladder. For many va**nal scans, an empty bladder is actually required.

The va**nal scan uses a slim probe that is gentle, sterilised, and medically safe, designed for comfort, not pain. The right preparation makes the scan clearer and more comfortable.

If you are unsure, always ask your doctor.
Awareness reduces anxiety

What began as a small reading circle slowly became something warmer Adults showing up month after month. And children listening with wide eyes, laughing at characters, asking the best questions, and reaching for books on their own.

Your va**na isn’t loose. It’s misunderstood.
Childbirth doesn’t “damage” a woman’s body, it activates one of the most intelligent healing systems nature designed. Stretching during delivery is normal. Recovery is natural. Anxiety often comes not from the body, but from misinformation and quick-fix promises.

Be cautious of devices and “va**nal tightening” marketing gimmicks that promise instant results.
Not everything sold in the name of women’s health is medically necessary.

Talk to your doctor.
Understand your body.
Choose care, not fear

Save this. Share it with someone who needs reassurance.
