Every idea is worthwhile trying and experimenting.

With the learner and explorer mindset, over 14 interns have trained on food innovation, safety and quality in the last two weeks. We are grateful to the passionate learners, mentors and subject matter experts who joined us on the journey.

Special thanks to business coaches, Mr. Sreeram Chellapa and Mr. Sethuraman Murugesan guiding and sharing their comments and highlighted the areas to focus on and intensify the research for a successful launch in the market.

Food Product pitch challenge has once again proved to be an arena for showcasing food ideas, prototypes and sharing constructive feedback.

This batch is unique with young graduates from nutrition, bio-engineering to agri-preneurs with business backgrounds.
We wholeheartedly congratulate all the interns for their best efforts in training and growing up with the mentors and experts.

As we all know that working in food industry is a complex and challenging business.

Around 13 budding and striving food professionals, our learners from the third batch of DPro Food Internship took up the frequently faced problems and solved it with problem solving tools and decision making steps.

We are glad to have two food industry experts, Mr. Manish Patel, quality expert with two decades of experience in food, oils and FMCG industry and Dr. Sonali Gaikwad, research and product development expert with hands-on experience in creating varied innovative foods to review the solutions presented by the interns and share their expertise.
Root-cause analysis, brain storming, collaborative work style and having proper quality assurance system in place starting from product development were highlighted as solution to avoid most of the problems in the food manufacturing and business.

DPro Food Product pitch challenge now accepting applications!

As part of DPro Food Internship to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, food product pitch challenge is designed to help young learners and emerging professionals in food science and tech gain clarity and receive expert guidance.

The internship is a mentoring program to prepare and support the learners for developing and pitching their innovative food idea and prototype.

Throughout the internship, interns participate in two-weeks training program where they will receive guidance for product development from industry experts.

By end of two weeks, all the interns will present their innovations in pitch challenge on February 20, 2022. A panel of judges from the food and related industries will select the winners of the DPro Food Product pitch challenge 2022 award.

Internship is open to students, graduates and curious food researchers from all over India seeking to explore successful food product development and to bring their food innovations to the market.
