Dr. Babu Ezhumalai - Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Babu Ezhumalai is a certified Interventional Cardiologist in Chennai Name: Dr. Babu Ezhumalai (Dr. E Babu).

Qualification: MBBS, MD, DM, FNB, FACC, FESC, FSCAI, FAPSIC, FICC, FISE . Dr. Babu Ezhumalai is currently working as Senior Interventional Cardiologist visiting Apollo Speciality Hospitals Vanagaram and Fortis Malar Hospital Adyar in Chennai, India. He obtained all three degrees MBBS, MD (General Medicine) and DM (Cardiology) from JIPMER, Puducherry, India. Dr. Babu Ezhumalai is a well experienced interventional cardiologist; he completed his FNB (Fellowship) in Interventional Cardiology at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi, India. He performs all complex PTCA (angioplasty stenting), structural heart disease interventions, endovascular interventions and device implantations. He was the Young National Ambassador of EAPCI (European Association of Percutaneous cardiovascular Interventions) for India (2017-19). He was the Young Indian National Ambassador for EACVI (European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging) - 2013-14. He is Fellow of American College of Cardiology and European Society of Cardiology. Dr. Babu Ezhumalai has received many national and international awards/recognitions for his research work. He has been honoured with the Best Young Scientist Award at TransCatheter therapeutics Asia Pacific conference held at Seoul in 2017.
