One of the most common concerns new parents face is that their newborn sleeps peacefully during the day but stays active at night. 🌙
✨ Remember, In the womb, babies don’t know the difference between day and night. It usually takes about 4–6 weeks for them to adjust.

So, how can parents help with this transition? 👇
☀️ Daytime: Keep the room bright and well-lit, and let natural household sounds (TV, cooking, cleaning) continue even if the baby naps.

🌙 Nighttime: Keep the room dim, avoid direct eye contact, and don’t encourage play.

With consistency, babies gradually learn that daytime is for play and nighttime is for sleep. 💤💛

Becoming a parent is exciting but it can also feel overwhelming when questions flood your mind: Is my baby healthy? Is the weight okay? Am I doing everything right?

Here are 5 golden rules every new parent should know:

1️⃣ Skin-to-skin contact — Bond with your baby right after birth. It helps emotional connection and breast milk flow.

2️⃣ Exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months — Be patient, rest well, eat nutritious food, and drink plenty of water. Milk supply naturally improves within 1–2 days.

3️⃣ Cord care — Keep the umbilical stump clean and dry; it falls off naturally in 10–15 days. No powders or ointments needed.

4️⃣ Keep your newborn warm — Dress your baby in one extra layer of clothing than what you wear.

5️⃣ Never miss pediatric visits — Timely immunizations protect your baby from infections.

Follow these steps with confidence. A healthy baby starts with informed, calm parents.

Heartburn during pregnancy keeping you up at night? 🌙🔥

Many moms-to-be face this common issue but it can be managed with simple changes:

Stay upright after meals – Don’t lie down immediately; sit straight or walk slowly for 1 hour after eating.

Skip the spicy cravings – Avoid outside or heavily spiced food to keep acidity away.

Eat on time, every time – Regular meals prevent acidity from getting worse.

Try Fenugreek magic – Fenugreek leaves or sprouted seeds reduce acidity and support digestion.

Thinking about VBAC (Vaginal Birth After C-section)?

It’s possible but only under the right conditions. In this video, we explain when VBAC can be safely attempted and what factors doctors consider before deciding.

Key points covered:

Why the gap between two pregnancies should be at least 18 months.

Understanding if your previous C-section was for a recurring or non-recurring reason.

What pregnancy complications (BP, diabetes, cord issues, baby size) must be absent to try VBAC.

Why tertiary care facilities with NICU and blood banks are essential for safety.

The rare but serious risks like uterine rupture and why expert monitoring is critical.

VBAC can give mothers the chance for a natural birth but it must be a well-planned decision. Watch now to learn when and how it can be done safely for both mom and baby.

Is your baby’s movement normal? 🤰

First-time moms usually feel kicks from 20 weeks (sure by 22–24 weeks), while second-time moms notice them as early as 18 weeks. Movement patterns may vary based on your baby’s position, but don’t panic! Aim for 10 movements between 8 AM and 8 PM (or 3 after each meal).

If you’re unsure, try snacks, music, or a gentle nudge and if your baby stays quiet, see your doctor for reassurance. 💓"
