Letโ€™s talk honestly. Even when pregnancy seems perfectly normal, labour can change in minutes.
- A motherโ€™s blood pressure can suddenly shoot up.
- Severe bleeding (postpartum hemorrhage) can happen without warning โ€” and it can be life-threatening.
- If labour is prolonged and the baby remains stuck in the birth canal, oxygen supply can reduce.

And when a baby doesnโ€™t cry immediately after birth?

In a hospital, we:
โœ” Clear the airway
โœ” Provide warmth
โœ” Give oxygen if needed
โœ” Perform neonatal resuscitation within minutes

Because those first 3โ€“5 minutes are critical.
Delay can lead to seizures, neurological damage, or even death.

To protect both mother and baby, we strongly encourage hospital deliveries where emergency care is immediately available.

Yes, you can continue breastfeeding if you become pregnant. But donโ€™t stop suddenly.

Feeling very hungry during pregnancy is normal! But avoid unhealthy midnight snacking. Have a protein-rich dinner

About vomiting โ€” in most women, it reduces by 13โ€“14 weeks. For some, it may continue longer. Treatment depends on severity.
