Just delivered your baby? congratulations 💙
but don’t miss this important test that can protect your future health.

if you had gestational diabetes, there is a 50% risk of developing type 2 diabetes later in life.

Many women are not informed about this and return after months with high sugar levels (hba1c 10–11).

👉 get your blood sugar checked 6–12 weeks after delivery
👉 repeat testing at 6 months and 1 year

Early testing + healthy lifestyle + proper breastfeeding can help you prevent diabetes and stay healthy for years.

5 shocking facts about diabetes that you most likely were unaware of 👇

The majority of people believe that diabetes is solely related to sugar, but the truth is far more complex.

Nearly 50–70% of the pancreatic cells that produce insulin may already be damaged by the time diabetes is identified.

Nearly half of India's more than 100 million diabetics are unaware that they have the disease.

Diabetes can cause silent nerve damage to the point where you might not even notice wounds.

Many women are unaware that they have a 50% increased risk of developing diabetes later in life if they have gestational diabetes.

The good news? Any improvement, no matter how tiny, counts.
You can considerably reduce your risk of kidney disease, nerve damage, and vision loss by lowering your HbA1c by just 1%.

We always hear about Vitamin D, Calcium, and Vitamin B12…

But how many of us talk about Magnesium?

Magnesium plays a major role in helping insulin move glucose into your cells. Without enough Magnesium, insulin may not work effectively — making blood sugar control difficult.

Low Magnesium levels can silently affect your metabolism and sugar balance.

Add Magnesium-rich foods like flax seeds, h**p seeds, quinoa, quinoa rice, and green leafy vegetables to support better insulin function.

Comment “MAGNESIUM” below and I’ll send you a complete list of Magnesium-rich foods you should include in your daily diet.

Save this reel and share it with someone who needs better sugar control.

Vitamin D supplements — when should you take them, how much is safe, and which dosage is correct?

For general maintenance, 400–600 IU of Vitamin D can be taken daily. Some individuals may require 1000–2000 IU depending on their levels.

High-dose Vitamin D like 60,000 IU is usually prescribed weekly — NOT daily — and only under medical supervision. The duration depends on your blood test results.

Very high doses like 600,000 IU injections are meant only for severe deficiency and are not for frequent use. Always follow your doctor’s advice before taking high-dose Vitamin D.

Since Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin, absorption improves when taken with meals containing healthy fats.

Also, Magnesium plays a crucial role in Vitamin D absorption and activation in the body. Without enough Magnesium, Vitamin D may not work effectively.

Forward this video to your family and friends to help them take Vitamin D safely and correctly.
