I did post to ask for any help we can do ..
Below are the following events that took place in both days .
1. literally mine was the only public place with power in my road ( generator of course )
2. We had people walk in to charge their phone
3. We had people asking us for drinking water and blankets if we could spare any
4. We had an elderly couple stay with us because water had seeped into their house till they could find a place to go to .
5. We had people asking if v could spare any food ( as most restaurants were closed by evening )
6. We had people ringing us up to check if their parents were okay in the adjoining house as they couldn’t reach them
7. In fact we even had requests of helping us drop people in other hospitals where their near and dear one were already admitted
8. And of course we constantly saw patients for the last three days and I have to thank all my doctors and my hospital team who stayed back with us and worked tirelessly along side me .
Of course medicine and health related work we do everyday .. but it was nice to c people come to ask us for help related to things apart from health . . The trust and hope they had in us was very heartening to c .. it is the power of social media I guess .. by god grace we were able to help almost all of them .
