🌟2012 vs 2021
🌟26yrs vs 36yrs
🌟84kg to 55kg
🌟Mom of a Teenager and an 8 yr old boy (C sections)
🌟Hypothyroid - progress from 125mcg to 37.5mcg. Acute disc prolapse, right knee ligament tear and lower back pain were postpartum companions.
Mistakes of my journey 🚫❌🤯 ?
🔅Starvation/Crash diets/no Carb diets
🚫Under utilised Gym memberships
🔅1 - 2 hour workouts daily with no rest day
❌Incorrect methods of Intermittent fasting
🔅Less sleep hours and stress
🚨Depression with every Weight plateau
🔅No cheat days
🤦♀️Blamed my genes and hated my postpartum body
Best practices I followed ?
✅Healthy home food with a calorie deficit and strike a balance of Carbs, proteins and fat every meal .
✅HOME GYM set up - Good balance of strength training with body weight/ Dumbbells ranging from 1 to 10kg with cardio/HIIT. One Rest/ recovery day every week
✅Keeping up Patience, Consistency and accountability
✅Good sleep hours
✅Focus on Over all Body fat percentage reduction to see visible changes on my Abs
✅Enjoy cheat days without guilt
✅Loving myself, my scars across abdomen, some loose skin and stretch marks.
