"Bone and Joint Week" conducted from 1st August - 7th August, 2020 is an initiative jointly by Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOA) and Tamil Nadu Orthopaedic Association.

The wonderful team of Orthopaedic surgeons, headed by Dr. Nandkumar Sundaram have yet again performed a complex surgery on a 23 year old male patient, who met with a road traffic accident & suffered multiple fractures in leg bone, thigh bone, pelvis & forearm.

He had been bought from Tada, Andhra Pradesh to Chennai & was operated for his injuries by Dr. Nandkumar Sundaram & team.

The patient who was unstable & at high risk when brought to the hospital is now completely stable & is also able to walk on his own.

We sincerely thank Dr. Nandkumar Sundaram and his team for attending to such emergency situations during these difficult times and for also making a difference in the lives of such patients.

Our wonderful team of Orthopaedic surgeons, headed by Dr Nandkumar Sundaram, have once again performed a treatment procedure for an elderly patient who had Bilateral Frozen Shoulders.

The patient was unable to lift his arms due to severe pain in his shoulders and also was not able to do his daily work.

Thanks to our Ortho team for performing this treatment and helping him recover from his pain. He is very happy now and continues with his day-to-day activities.

We sincerely thank Dr. Nandkumar Sundaram and his team for bringing relief into the lives of such patients. May he continue his tireless service to the society even during these trying times!
