கிளக்கோமா ( Glaucoma ) என்கிற கண் அழுத்த (அ) கண் நீர் அழுத்த நோயானது ஆரம்ப கட்டத்தில் அறிகுறிகள் எதும் இன்றி படிப்படியாக முற்றி பார்வையை திரும்ப பெற முடியாத நிலைமைக்கு கொண்டு சென்று விடும் அபாயகரமான கண் நோயாகும்.
முன்கூட்டியே கண்டறிந்தால் பார்வை இழப்பை தடை செய்யலாம்.
சில அறிகுறிகள் :
1) தெளிவாக பார்க்க அதிக வெளிச்சம் தேவைபடுதல்.
2) படிக்கும் போது எழுத்துக்கள் மங்களாக தெரிவது.
3) பக்கவாட்டில் பார்வை குறைதல் அல்லது பார்க்க கடினமாதல்.
4) பார்வை சில இடங்களில் கருமையாகவோ அல்லது தெரியாமல் போவது.
5) மங்களான பார்வை.

For deserving patients free eye glasses and medicines will be provided.
