Sometimes a child’s “I got scolded for…”
isn’t about discipline. It’s about what we value as parents.

He didn’t get scolded for being rude. He got scolded for misspelling a word.

And in that tiny moment, he learned that grades mattered more than grace.

As parents, we all want the best for our children, but what if being understood mattered more than being perfect?

We didn’t question them,
just swallowed the feelings.
And yes, maybe we turned out fine.
But now, we’re unlearning.
We’re raising kids who feel seen, not shut down.
Heard, not hurried.
Safe, not scared.
