is one of the most common skin diseases, and patients may present with a wide spectrum of symptoms, including sudden development of pruritic wheals or angioedema.
An estimated 15% to 23% of adults experience at least one episode of acute urticaria at some time in their lives, and the prevalence of chronic urticaria in adults is estimated at 0.5% to 5%.

http://padmaayur.com/everything-you-need-to-know-about-urticaria-sh*tapitta-udarda-kotha/

The word Urticaria is derived from Latin word ‘urtica’ which means stinging nettle. A transient redness and swelling of skin with itching, causing wheals (localized intracutaneous oedema) in the dermis or large hypodermal swellings, is called Urticaria.

The Andolika / Swing .

To all those who are interested in mantra and mantra chikitsa - Few facts to eschew in mind and think about it. :)

somaṃ sānucaraṃ devaṃ samātṛgaṇamīśvaram ||310||
pūjayan prayataḥ śīghraṃ mucyate viṣamajvarāt |
carācarapatiṃ vibhum ||311||
jvarān sarvānapohati |
- carakasaṃhitā | jvaracikitsitam adhyāya |

After due prayers to soma and īśvara (pārvati) along with the nandi ādi gaṇās (it may be remembered that jvara is caused due to rudra kopa) to appease them,-

chanting the puruṣa sūktaṃ (viṣṇuṃ_sahasramūrdhānaṃ iti “sahasraśīrṣā”) starting with the “sahasraśīrṣā ”,

and further chanting the starting with -

" vishwam vishṇur vashatkāro, bh
ūtha bhavya bhavatprabhuḥ |
bhūtha kṛdh bhūdha bṛdh bhāvo,
bhūtātmā bhūta bhāvanaḥ || "

and ending with.,-

" vanamālee gadhī śārangī ś
ankhi chakrīcha nandakī |
śrīmān nārāyaṇo viśṇur vā
sudevobhi rakśathuḥ |
srī vāsudevobhi rakśatyom nama iti |".,

appeases all types of non responding, chronic jvaras of idiopathic origin when under the treatment.

The fact being the human sharira is the replica of the universe as is being said by the yoga related scriptures helps us understand that the principles of rudra,soma, viShNu,prajApati,indra,kArtikeya,maruta etc too reside in our body and controls the physiological actions of the sharira to maintain the jiva or praNa in an amicable manner.

The following reference will further suctantiate the yatha pinDam principle - "tasya puruṣasya pr̥thivī mūrtiḥ, āpaḥ klēdaḥ, tējō'bhisantāpaḥ, vāyuḥ prāṇaḥ, viyat suṣirāṇi, brahma antarātmā|
yathā khalu brāhmī vibhūtirlōkē tathā puruṣē'pyāntarātmikī vibhūtiḥ, brahmaṇō vibhūtirlōkē prajāpatirantarātmanō vibhūtiḥ puruṣē sattvaṁ, yastvindrō lōkē sa puruṣē'haṅkāraḥ, ādityastvādānaṁ, rudrō rōṣaḥ, sōmaḥ prasādaḥ, vasavaḥ sukham, aśvinau kāntiḥ, marudutsāhaḥ, viśvēdēvāḥ sarvēndriyāṇi sarvēndriyārthāśca, tamō mōhaḥ, jyōtirjñānaṁ, yathā lōkasya sargādistathā puruṣasya garbhādhānaṁ, yathā kr̥tayugamēvaṁ bālyaṁ, yathā trētā tathā yauvanaṁ, yathā dvāparastathā sthāviryaṁ, yathā kalirēvamāturyaṁ, yathā yugāntastathā maraṇamiti|
ēvamētēnānumānēnānuktānāmapi lōkapuruṣayōravayavaviśēṣāṇāmagnivēśa! sāmānyaṁ vidyāditi||5||" || - carakasaṃhitā - puruṣavicayaśārīram ||

Having said that, the mantrAs when recited within the mind or even chanted through vocal resonation, do have the impact upon the internal microcosmic principles through the reverberations of vibrations caused by the mantras.

It there by helps cleansing, modifying, re energising the energy pattern amongst the major chakras and the minor chakras (aka marma sthalAs), which maintain the physiological functions of the body by the governance of the mahAprAna vAyu, which abodes on those chakras (both major and minor).

Thus the effct of chanting the mantras do have impact in the nergy pattern of the human body and impeccably has an upper hand in the self healing process.

In a way, most of the mantrAs getting mentioned with the phala (result) of providing health through vyAdhi mokShana as seen in atharvana veda, seems to be on par with auto suggestion of directing the internal microscosmic energies in the form of request to self rectify or get strengthened, there by counteracting the negative state of ill health to bring the physique to a ositive state of good health.

If and when time permits, I will share up a few mantras from the vedA, in the future.

Having said that, I would like to end this note of discusion with the wonderful words of explaining the quintessence of the spirit in simplified words.
