Stress is a Killer!
Top 4 Tips To Turn Off Stress

1. Self Body Scan: Start with your toes and work up to your head and neck.
Be sure to include your arms and hands.
Notice how you feel in your body. Do you feel tense, relaxed, calm or anxious?
Take your time and see how much you can soften any tense feelings.
The more that you do this, the more in tune with your body/mind you'll become
and relaxing will be easier and you will be a powerful self healer.

2. Focus Your Breath: Sit or lay down on your back comfortably.
Tune into your breath as it goes in your nose to your lungs and abdomen and out again. Imagine the tension going out with each exhalation. When you notice your mind wandering, return to focusing on your breath.

3. Repeat Mantras: Sit quietly and close your eyes. Repeat aloud or silently inside, a mantra or Power Word such as "Om".
Do this for at least 15 minutes per day to start.

4. Use Guided Imagery: Imagine a liquid gold light or a soothing waterfall
washing away tension from your body and mind. You may wish to visit

Eat All The Potatoes That You Want
And Not Gain Weight!

The potato has been unfairly judged.

Your body is very efficient and regulates the use
of carbohydrates that you get from starch.
It's the extra oils, butter and other dairy products
that are smothered on that promote weight gain
and susceptibility to other diseases like diabetes.

"Steam-fry" for Your Health
Why cook with harmful oils when you can "steam-fry"?
Use water or vegetable stock in place of oil or other fat when sauteing. Start by heating a small amount of water or stock in the cooking vessel and then add ingredients to be sautéed. Small amounts of additional liquid may need to be added throughout cooking. The trick is to wait until food starts to stick to the pan before you add liquid. It is important not to add too much liquid at one time because this will create too much steam which will compromise flavors and textures.
