Navaratri Pilgrimage March & September 2026 | A Journey into the Living Feminine

During Navaratri, India breathes differently.
The land awakens in rhythm with the Goddess, temples pulse with devotion, fires are lit, mantras fill the air, and the feminine principle is honored in all her forms: strength, wisdom, tenderness, and transformation.

In 2026, we gather to walk this sacred time together.

This pilgrimage is not tourism.
It is a return, to the body, to devotion, to something ancient that remembers you.

For nine days, we move through sacred temples, rituals, silence, music, and prayer. We sit with fire, with breath, with stories older than words. We allow the energy of Navaratri to work through us, clearing, softening, igniting.

Each day mirrors an inner journey:

Our last Silence Retreat of 2025

There is a quiet wisdom that only appears when we stop trying to fix ourselves and simply observe.

Ven. Mahasi Sayadaw teaches that awakening begins in the smallest moments, the rise and fall of the breath, the soft flicker of a thought, the weight of a feeling moving through the body. Nothing needs to be changed. Nothing needs to be pushed away.
We just notice.

And in this noticing, the mind becomes honest… and the heart becomes lighter.

In our final retreat of this year, we return to this simple and profound practice:
to see things as they truly are, moment by moment.
To sit with ourselves in stillness, to listen without forcing, to allow the truth of our experience to unfold naturally.

Silence is not an escape, it’s a homecoming.
A gentle turning inward.
A space where clarity rises on its own, without effort.

Lately, through my studies and my own practice, I’ve been understanding how much the sacrum and coccyx influence the entire pelvic floor.

Every time these areas hold tension or become rigid, the pelvic floor immediately responds by tightening and protecting.

But when we work gently, with breath, grounding and small mobilizations, something shifts.
The sacrum starts to glide with more freedom, the coccyx releases downward, and suddenly the pelvic floor has permission to soften.

It’s not forced. It’s a natural unwinding, a deep exhale in the root of the body.

This sacral work is so simple and yet so powerful.
It supports hip opening, menstrual health, pelvic stability, and even emotional regulation.

The body lets go when it feels safe… and the sacrum is one of the first places that tells the whole system, “You can relax now.”

This is how emotions live in the body and I’ve seen it again and again, in myself and in the people I work with.

What we feel doesn’t just disappear; it settles into the breath, the muscles, the hips, the heart space. Science confirms what many of us already sense intuitively: every emotion has a physical signature. Grief collapses the chest, anxiety speeds the breath, anger heats the body, joy opens us.

We live in a moment where millions of people are turning to AI for comfort, not because AI is “better,” but because it feels safe.

Because it listens.

Because it doesn’t judge.

Because it gives instant clarity when the body feels chaotic.

But underneath this global trend, there is something deeper happening.

People don’t know how to feel anymore.

And when we lose the ability to regulate our nervous system… we lose our ability to live.
To make decisions.
To feel love.
To digest grief.
To be human.

AI is not the problem.
Technology is not the threat.

The real crisis is that we have become strangers to our bodies.

We are not meant to process life alone.
But we are also not meant to outsource our inner world to a machine.

We need to remember the language of the body again.
We need to learn how to hold ourselves.

How to feel.
How to regulate.
How to soften.

This is the work.
This is the healing.

If I were to begin my yoga practice again…

I wouldn’t start with flexibility or headstands,
I would begin with how I treat life.

With the way I speak to others,
how I care for animals,
and how I treat myself when no one is watching.

Yoga begins in the invisible moments,
in honesty, compassion, respect, and awareness.

To live with integrity (Satya),
to practice non-harm (Ahimsa),
to avoid taking what isn’t ours, whether it’s time, energy, or trust (Asteya).
To care for our vital energy and not waste it on what drains us (Brahmacharya).
To stay free from attachment, learning to let go gracefully (Aparigraha).

These are the Yamas,
the foundations of yoga that shape how we live, not just how we move.

In the Western world, we could call them the art of conscious living.

Because yoga isn’t about touching your toes,
it’s about touching life with awareness.

SILENCE RETREAT BALI: Vipassana Meditstion & Mindfulness

Every time we enter silence, something shifts.
It’s not always easy, the first day, the mind runs in circles, trying to fill the space. But then, slowly, everything begins to settle. The body softens, the breath deepens, and what felt confusing starts to make sense without needing words.

In our last retreat, I watched people arrive carrying the weight of daily life, thoughts, stories, expectations and leave with light in their eyes, calm in their hearts. It’s humbling every time to witness how powerful silence can be.

This retreat is a chance to listen again, not to the world outside, but to that quiet voice within that we often forget to hear.

🕊️ We’ll spend the days in silence, meditating, practicing gentle yoga, walking in nature, journaling, and gathering by the fire as the sun sets over the rice fields.

It’s been such an honor to guide you through this journey. Your dedication and discipline are truly the essence of what makes a great Ashtanga teacher.

After studying together online, we met in Bali to complete the training and closing this cycle with a beautiful Agni Hotram ceremony, surrounded by fire, intention and community.

I’m very excited to finally share a workshop I’ve been exploring and refining over the past six years through private 1:1 sessions, now opening this method for group experience.

The hips are more than just joints, they are the body’s emotional vault, storing years of tension, suppressed emotions and past experiences. In this powerful session, Laura blends therapeutic yoga, somatic release, breathwork and mindful movement to unlock stored trauma and restore balance.

Through progressive hips opening sequences, gentle yet profound stretches and guided awareness, you will:

• Release tension and emotional blockages
• Improve mobility and flexibility
• Activate the parasympathetic nervous system, shifting from stress to deep relaxation
• Reconnect with yourself through softness and surrender

Trauma Release Exercises (TRE) will be introduced, activating the body’s natural tremor response to safely discharge deep-held tension, especially in the pelvic and psoas region. This powerful somatic tool supports the nervous system in releasing stress without needing to revisit the story, allowing for a profound sense of relief and renewal.
