Supporting a mother means empowering a family.

At Smrthi health care, our Mothers & Infants Lactation-Breastfeeding Care Centre is dedicated to helping mothers begin their breastfeeding journey with confidence.

For years, our nursing team has been guiding mothers with breastfeeding support and counseling. Building on this strong foundation, we are now strengthening Mothers & Infants Lactation-Breastfeeding Care Centre through focused training and renewed academic engagement.

Recently, we were honored to host a lactation training workshop led by Dr. Padmini Balagopal. Through real-life case discussions, practical learning, and a strong focus on empathetic counselling, the workshop offered a deeply enriching learning experience.

Participants shared that the experience strengthened both their clinical confidence and their compassion while supporting mothers.

At Smrthi health care, we remain committed to nurturing healthy beginnings for every mother and baby.

At Smrthi health care, we marked the crescendo of a weeklong celebration of World Breastfeeding Week this Saturday August 5th with a celebration for invited audience. We staged a captivating skit that spotlighted the essential stages of the breastfeeding journey the antenatal and postnatal phases. The corridors at both our branches were adorned with splendidly crafted rangolis, vibrant illustrations, and informative posters. We commend the nursing and social work department for bringing out an educative campaign. We also thank Indian Academy of Pediatrics- Chennai City Branch (IAP CCB) with whom we were associated for bringing out these program.
