Pregnant women, please don't panic, we( myself obstetrician, pediatrician, anesthetist if necessary, staff team for delivery and c section) are available for emergencies, so be calm, enjoy ur motherhood, don't see panic news, read good books, hear good music, BE POSITIVE

We had a severe hypertension in pregnancy. She was admitted for induction of labour in the morning when her BP was normal, suddenly at midnight her BP started shooting up, sisters informed me immediately, I was almost reaching the hospital when she started developing upper abdominal pain which is not a safe sign in pregnancy hypertension. We immediately started treatment and took her up for c section and delivered a Bful healthy girl baby. Both mother and baby are fine now.
First thanks to staffs to identify and inform, treat with such care, hats off to u girls, love u all
Second, to their family who were very understanding and agreed to C-section and treatment. I should tell at this point we have taken even one hour to 30 min to make family understand sometimes
Thirdly anesthetist pediatrician who were ready at 1.30am,theatre staffs were immediately ready
God was with us throughout
I'm grateful to each and everyone
I'm blessed

Everyone wants to have a normal labour. We too would like to give the privilege and satisfaction for the labouring woman. Sometimes due to unfavourable conditions like disproportion between baby's head and mothers pelvis, baby's heart rate changes etc for the interest of the mother and the baby we are in a situation to do cesarean section. But we are very happy and proud to say our rate of normal delivery is more than world health organisation rates
WHO 32.8 Percent
Mine: 39.5 Percent
I'll be constantly working towards working on increasing normal delivery rate
But the ultimate goal is safe mother and child
