fracture of leg bone (tibia) which could have been treated so well by a orthopedic was treated by a bone setter and the result, blood supply to the leg was lost due to tight bandage and this patient had to be operated to decompress the leg and fix the bone with plates.

quite a scary picture.

just to show how a momentary carelessness can prove disasterous. This 21 years engineering student was carrying a bag full of crackers last night and while walking a cracker from nearby came and fell into his bag and the whole lot of crackers exploded on his leg. his bone was shattered and muscles and skin crushed extensively. it took more than two hours just to clean all the muck and then fix his bones with rods.

just wanted to convey be safe while bursting crackers.

30 yr male with a huge cyst inside his hip bone unable to walk.
was operated to remove the cyst and fill the gap with bone graft from his lower leg + a metal screw. Biopsy turned out to be a benign condition called fibrous dysplasia.
