Iswarya, Tutor, Department of Physiotherapy, Saveetha Institute of Technical Sciences, Chennai, has successfully completed the NEP 2020 Orientation & Sensitization Programme under the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MM-TTP) of the University Grants Commission (UGC). Organized by UGC-MMTTC, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, the programme was held from 21st to 29th April 2025. She was awarded a Grade 'A' for her performance. This training marks a significant step towards empowering educators under the National Education Policy 2020 and enhancing academic excellence.

On February 22, 2025, the Paediatric Department at Saveetha College of Physiotherapy (SCPT) conducted a UBA camp in Molachur Village, Ward 12, Block Sriperumbudur. The team was led by postgraduate student Priyadharshini I. and included interns Sabitha, Rithika Shree, and Santhosh Krishna. On January 8, 2025, the Department of Pediatric Physiotherapy at Saveetha College of Physiotherapy conducted a UBA activity in Molachur Village. The team, led by postgraduate student Priyadharshini I and interns Thoufeeq Fathima A, Yuvasri S, and Keerthi T, attended to 5 pediatric cases, offering guidance on common childhood conditions and promoting the importance of nutrition and active play. During their visit, the team identified the need for improvements in both the economic and environmental conditions of the village, emphasizing the importance of addressing these issues to improve the overall well-being of the community. The camp was coordinated by Dr. Madhanraj S. and faculty Dr. Sathiyasiva. The activity involved 4 volunteers and benefited 20 individuals.
