Anbarasu school of Nursing is sponsored by Dr.C Anbarau, Dr. K.C.Rajabather Educational and Cultural Charitable Trust. Anbarasu who introduced the very first 24 hours hospital in the city of Chennai. He is also dedicated running a hospital for the poor at Sriperumbadur in memory of late shri Rajiv Gandhi our former prim minister of India. Beyond his noble service he also served as a member of the tamilnadu nurses and midwives counsel. The managing director of the above institution is Dr.K.C.Rajabather he is the founder chairman of Tagore institute of medical science and research center at tambaram which was established in the year 1991 and it is the first private paramedical institute in tambaram in Chennai. In the year 1993 yet another institute Rajiv Gandhi Paramedical institute was opened at adyar, which is now functioning at thiruvanmiyur Nearly 500 students pass out every year
