Cardiac arrest can happen anytime, to anyone. When a person collapses and isn’t breathing, call emergency services immediately. Begin CPR with firm, rapid compressions in the center of the chest—about 100–120 per minute. Use an AED (Defibrillator) if one is available and follow its automated prompts. Quick action keeps oxygen flowing and greatly increases survival chances before help arrives.
