Simple Summer Tips

Summer holidays are delightful,rejoiceful and entertaining for our kids but may be vice versa for parents

1.Dont encourage your kid to sit with gadgets,in front of TV,see which indoor games they are interested and allow them to do interesting things they like to do,provide necessary play materials.

2. Form a safe kids group in near similar ages within your apartment or street,with guidance and support of all parents let your kids play in groups whatever they want to play either indoor games or outdoor games except in hot timings.

3.Teach them and show our childhood games,if they like play with them for few days,entertain good indoorgames,

4.In evenings encourage your child to do cycling,shuttle,tennis,cricket in small groups as they like,get necessary things for the same

5. Spend Time with your kids,listento them patiently,encourage them to talk about their likings,plans,fears,needs,friends,school,teachers etc. Try to answer them in gentle ways correct them if they r wrong,fulfill their simple and needful wishes.

6.Encourage them to read good books,let them select books of their own interest

7.Avoid joining them in series of summer coaching classes,don't push them in multiple things to learn in short periods.Know your kids interest,let them volunteer if they want to learn something.

8.Create a healthy eating habits for your kids,provide variety of healthy food options for them to select and eat....educate and encousage them to eat slowly ...indulge your kids in simple cooking activities...

9.Encourage adequate fluid intake in summer in any form-water,fresh juices,soups etc,provide fresh fruits,,avoid junks and carbonated drinks.

10.Take care of their dressings,encourage loose cotton dresses, promote bathing twice daily.Prevention for diseases like chickenpox,measles etc with vaccines if not taken.
