Tiara Haemophilia and Cancer Foundation (THCF) is a Children's Charity that makes treatment more available and affordable for families from low socio-economic groups whose children have Haemophilia or Cancer.
We also spread awareness about these ailments and support medical research in these fields, with a view to ensure a better quality of life for affected children.
We support paediatric patients from low socio-economic backgrounds up to the age of 18.
We have tied up with leading Haematologists, Oncologists and Hospitals to help sponsor the treatment of these brave children. The number of children we are able to help is growing by the day. A complete list of hospitals and doctors we support is available at www.thcf.in/hospitals
MEDICAL AID
We provide financial support to those who cannot afford treatment by sponsoring the costs of the following:

• Anti-haemophilic factors (VIII & IX)
• von-Willebrand factor
• Anti-inhibitor Coagulant Complex
CANCER
• Chemotherapy & other drugs
• Surgery
• Radiation
• Investigations for diagnosis - Flowcytometry, FISH Panel, Cytogenetics, MRD,
Immunohistochemistry etc.
• Imaging Procedures - PET CT, MRI etc.
• Central Venous Devices - Infusaports, PICC Lines, Central Lines

PROJECT RETINOBLASTOMA
Retinoblastoma is a rare form of Cancer affecting the retina that is most commonly found in children.
In association with Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, we sponsor Radiation and Intra-arterial Chemotherapy (IAC) for children from low socio-economic backgrounds.
We also support other Eye Cancers being treated at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai.
MULTIDISCIPLINARY CLINIC FOR CHILDREN WITH HAEMOPHILIA
This clinic is a collaboration between the Haematologist, Orthopaedician and Physiotherapist to monitor arthropathies. It enables follow up to improve quality of life and is a good opportunity for parents to get guidance and answers.
TOGETHER WE CAN
Together We Can is a hand in hand collaboration with Government Hospitals in Tamil Nadu. Under this programme, we have a Public-Private Partnership with Institute of Child Health and Hospital for Children (ICH), Chennai to help in the early diagnosis of Bleeding Disorders and Cancer. This will result in better treatment of affected children.
