Doctors' are mostly workouts for the sitting muscles, with the brain 🧠 trying to soak up information like a sponge.
But in this mid year TNOA conference called Bay EyeCon conducted on 19th Jan 2025, we came up with a different plan. We had all delegates moving up and around the conference hall in a novel program called "Live Long, Live Strong". Delegates, both senior and junior, moved around to form four groups and tried to come up with innovative solutions for everyday hurdles to staying healthy. They were given 1 problem statement each and they had 5 minutes to come up with practical solutions for the same. A group representative presented the solutions to 4 judges in front of the audience.
The four groups were innovatively named to mark the four pillars of good health. They were
Body Soda, to emphasize physical exercise
Unave Marunthu, to mark the importance of nutrition
Manase Bathiram, for the value of mental wellness
Quality Kumbakarans, to stress the need for quality sleep.
It was an event filled with laughter, movement and energy.
Thanks to a young, energetic and creative team we were able to engage a hall full of eye doctors and hopefully create a spark to change their lives for the better.
