The facility with 450 beds inclusive of 130 critical care beds, 14 operating rooms and state of the art reference laboratories and Radiology services is conveniently located in close proximity of Road, Rail and Air Transport. It is designed to provide highly specialized care in all specialties with special focus on care of the critically ill and multi-organ transplantation. Mohamed Rela, a world renowned surgeon in the field of liver surgery and transplantation will lead the team. This hospital will house one of the world’s largest dedicated liver intensive care units. Marshet Degefa traveled from Ethiopia after being diagnosed with intestinal cancer. With expert care from Dr. K.R. Gopi, Consultant - Medical Oncology, Dr. Keshavarajan, Consultant - Surgical Oncology, and Prof. Rela at Rela Hospital, Marshet underwent multiple rounds of chemotherapy and two successful surgeries—including a complex liver resection.

Despite the challenges, Marshet experienced excellent treatment and compassionate care, describing the doctors as family and feeling truly fortunate for this second chance at life.
