The Dementia Resource and Training Centre, called DEMCARES (Dementia Care in SCARF) is associated with the Schizophrenia Research Foundation (SCARF), a non-governmental, non-profit organization based in Chennai. The story of a man and his daughter navigating dementia's challenges was masterfully told. As his memories fade, the audience was drawn into his fragmented world, feeling the contrasting realities.
The play was followed by a special panel discussion held with our Chief guests Mr.Manirathnam & Mrs.Suhasini Manirathnam.
Moderated by Dr.Sridhar Vaitheswaran the panel brought interdisciplinary perspectives on Dementia care in India, featuring
