🌿✨ A Heartfelt Experience at the Home of Nature — Two Days with Mr. Arul Oli & Family ✨🌿
On November 8 & 9, 2025, I had the privilege of spending two deeply inspiring days at the home of my friend Mr. Arul Oli, located in Thanjamadaikuttai Village near Anthiyur, Erode District, Tamil Nadu.
He owns 2.5 acres of fertile land, where he practices organic farming rooted in traditional Tamil wisdom. His farm is filled with vibrant red banana plants, coconut trees, papaya trees, and portions of land dedicated to nari payir and thattai payir cultivation. 🌱
Mr. Arul Oli is not just a farmer — he is a Natural Lifestyle Trainer, an Acupuncture and medicine-free healing practitioner with over 13 years of experience. His healing clinic is based in Erode, and he travels to Hosur every weekend to treat people naturally.
His wife, Mrs. Mohanambal, is also a healer, walking hand in hand with him in their shared mission of natural living and holistic health. Together, they are raising three amazing sons —
👦 Master Semmozhi Sammal (10th Std)
👦 Master Ezhal Arivan (7th Std)
👦 Master Pozhilan (4th Std)
— all studying in a nearby convent school and growing up as nature-connected children, born at home without medical interventions. 🌿
During my stay, I observed many beautiful aspects of their daily life:
🐄 The children joyfully feeding cows and hens, helping their parents in farming, and balancing studies with meaningful work.
♟️ In the evenings, Mr. Arul would sit down with his children one by one to play chess — a wonderful moment of bonding, focus, and joy.
It reminded me how true education happens not just in classrooms, but through conscious family living and mindful parenting. 💫
Every month, their extended family — Mr. Arul’s parents, elder sister, brother-in-law, their son and daughter-in-law, and a few other relatives — gather at their home. I witnessed how each member was welcomed individually with a warm “Vanakkam”, the traditional Tamil greeting, accompanied by radiant smiles and heartfelt respect. 🤍
Their family lunch was another highlight — a delicious meal with country chicken curry and rice, prepared with love and shared in unity. After the meal, they offered betel leaf and areca nut (vetrilai-pakku) to everyone — a traditional sign of respect and completion of a wholesome meal.
In Tamil culture, betel leaf is considered a divine herb, believed to purify the body, prevent premature aging, and protect against illness. 🍃
This experience left me deeply touched. It reminded me that —
👉 “When the mind and body are aligned with nature, life becomes truly meaningful.” 🌞
Mr. Arul Oli is also deeply involved in social work. As a member of Tamil Desiya Periyakkam, he actively helps people access government welfare schemes and supports those in need through persistent efforts and community engagement.
Being in his home felt like stepping into a world where simplicity, family bonding, health, and tradition all live in harmony. The visit wasn’t just about observing natural living — it was about feeling it, breathing it, and understanding its true essence. 🌾
This journey reminded me that peace doesn’t come from luxury — it grows from connection: to nature, to family, and to our own consciousness. 💚
