Well done South Africa ! It is a 27 year old itch . You deserve the WTC after all ! Now the tag if chokers will vanish. But expectations will be a notch higher and would take much more to remain there in the backdrop of many a talented team .

The perennial chokers are at the cusp of winning the WTC at Lord’s. Still 70 odd shy of the target and the Aussies are feeling the possibility of losing this test despite done good cricket.
If one were to pick two innings of substance in test match history then the one by Aiden Markram and Temba Bavuma should rank the top most.
The temperament and technical capability to tackle the best bowling attack in the world currently were a treat to the connoisseur. If Markram was busy accumulating runs, it was the little Bavuma ( his technique has a calming effect to the team in the chase ) who guided the more prominent partner to a glorious hundred had to battle it out with a hamstring injury.
Fourth day at lords will be riveting for the Aussies will not give in so easily . Couple of wickets early could send chill up the spine of the Springboks. Whatever the result WTC 2025 has so far been a test match of highest quality , bowling, batting and fielding.
Lastly, did Pat Cummins make a tactical blunder in not bringing in Josh Hazelwood for his second spell a little earlier than he did? Beau Webster nonetheless bowled tightly but it needed more than tight bowling attack that stage of the game. A wicket would have definitely changed the complexion of the game.
Nathan Lyon might be disappointed not to have taken a wicket despite Good Evening!ttibv prodigioys turn and bite after tea. Batsmanship was of hihedt qualuty durinv the last hour of the dsy.

Plain unimaginative bowling by the South Africans … no aggression … just letting the batsmen make mistakes as though they had a thousand runs to defend. No doubt South Africans are born to lose at the summit. The grit and determination of the aussies despite being 78-7 and in danger of setting up a below par fourth innings total was showcased in no less terms … South Africans is bound to suffer for their inept approach .

South African’s fragile mental strength and the propensity to choke when their Adrenalin is expected to flow copiously is so famous that it best warrants a paper for management case study on mental fortitude

Pugnacious Michelle Starc sets up victory for the Aussies

Plucky Australians seem coasting for a victory at the WTC test at Lords . A target above 250 despite a slowing wicket could be daunting for South Africans whose body language is already isn’t all that good. From 78-7 to have let the Aussies off the hook , the Springboks will need some soul searching

Without trying to be wise after the event , if Air India cannot assure top class service and safety to passenger it had better closed shop. Human lives are too dear to be lost for the pride of any one group whatever may be its legacy.
We have had disgusting stories from passengers flying Air India on international trips of dangling seats, video systems not working and the crew sounding helpless what kind of assurance could this airline give passengers of it ability to fly safe aircrafts.
Even after privatization if the image of this airliner cannot be improved it simply doesn’t deserve to exist.

The Air India Boeing 787 Dreamliner crash off Ahmedabad on a hot summer afternoon of 12th June is a rude shock and angst for the countless across the world. While Air travel, with all its modern gadgets and electronics ensuring maximum safety features in the landscape of different birds manufactured by the leading companies( particularly Airbus and Boeing),to the extent of reassuring that it’s safer than surface transport, is cruelly dotted with tragic accidents plucking lives at different stages. Whether such crashes occur during the course of the flight, immediately on take off or moments before landing it doesn’t matter. The harsh reality is that when you are airborne every take off and landing is a blessing. The comfort of being grounded at the time if any mishap to look for escape is nullified in midair. Aviation electronics with all its development over the years, despite reassurances as to the various safety support systems in place, suffers from sudden failure of electrical systems or electronic systems wither if which could be fatal at any altitude. That air travel has shrunk the distance between continents to few hours in a day is something which is undeniably an engineering / aviation technological achievement without doubt. Millions of travelers jet setting everyday carrying out their official / personal work perhaps unionsful of the probability of occurrnces beyond the controls of experienced pilots ( however low it could still be) would look to technological advancement to significantly secure their lives mid-air.
Whatever said and done accidents, however far and few in between, do occur throwing up unknown risks of malfunctioning or human error; these are stark reminders to strengthen the standard operating procedures which need to be automated to a great extent ( as otherwise human intervention could jeopardize the purpose whatever may be the experience of those sitting behind machines and gadgets ).
Lives lost can never be compensated… it’s easy to get philosophical here … but the lives of human being and the modes of transport are so undeniably intertwined that one is forced to walk into such comforts knowing full well that, despite reassurances on dependability of machines, that minuscule percentage of uncertainty will continue to disturb fidgety air travelers .
In this hour of grief for those families who lost their dear ones let us stand together sharing their misfortune and hope that futuristic air travel witnesseth nothing like such gastly mishaps.

With the fast bowlers calling the shots so far the WCT at Lords is interestingly poised .. the only question is which way would this go ? A target of 200 or thereabouts should give Australia a stiff target to bowl with . Will the SA top order up the ante? It’s going to be an interesting third day for sure ..

11/06/2025

What a beginning to the WTC at Lords! Both No 1 batsmen getting out for a duck on day one … a rare statistics of sort ?!
Starc bowling fast and Josh miserly as usual… SA batsmen feeling the heat under their collars. With nothing much to play with the Aussies will need to keepp the pressure To rest the initiative.

Was Jannik Sinner in a hurry to close out the match in four sets and was his indiscretion on the forehand court finding the net when Alacaraz was trying to retrieve his position the reason for his inexplicable loss after leading two sets to one? Alcaraz is too good an opponent to be unsettled by any player in the circuit currently. But like tge legendary Rafa , he could pounce back given a senbkancecof escape royrw. He proved that in the finals at the Roland Garros this year. Resilience of highest quality, in which act, he staved off three match points and romped home with two tie breakwrs
