Leprosy, often categorized as a neglected tropical disease (NTD) is often associated with stigma and discrimination, making it essential to challenge misconceptions and promote inclusion.

Global Commitment involves the efforts of governments, healthcare providers, NGOs, communities, and individuals.

Goal is to raise awareness, challenge stigma, promote early diagnosis, and work towards the elimination of leprosy.

This is worrisome. I notice a steady increase in the number of children using multiple products and reacting to some and visiting me for treatment. They rattle off product names effortlessly and often their parents are surprised. The amount of misinformation they consume online is enormous. There should be some check on the influencer content ( not a mere disclaimer). And to top it all, image issues and the psychological impact on the children - unimaginable.
