அரசு மருத்துவ கல்லூரியில் அரசு கட்டணம் வேண்டும் என்ற மாணவர்களின் நியாயமான கோரிக்கையை ஏற்று
கடந்த அரசு G.O 16 மூலம் ராஜா முத்தையா மருத்துவக் கல்லூரியை அரசு மருத்துவக்கல்லூரிக்கு இணையாக மாற்றி உயர் கல்வித் துறையிலிருந்து சுகாதாரத் துறைக்கு ஒப்படைத்தது. தொடர்ச்சியாக சுகாதாரத் துறை (G.O 45) மூலம் தற்போது பயிலும் மாணவர்களுக்கும் பிற அரசு மருத்துவ கல்லூரி போன்று கட்டணம் (13,610/-)என்று அறிவித்தது.
ஆனால், G.O 122 வெளியிடப்பட்டு பழைய வருடங்களுக்கு (2020-2021 வரை) தனியார் கட்டணத்தை விட அதிக கட்டணம் நீடித்தது.
அதற்கு எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவித்து அப்போதைய எதிர்க்கட்சித் தலைவர், மாண்புமிகு முதல்வர் மற்றும் திமுக இளைஞரணி செயலாளர் அண்ணன் உதயநிதி அவர்களும் போராடிய மாணவர்களுக்கு முழு ஆதரவு தெரிவித்தனர்.

இதே பிரச்சினையை எதிர் கொண்டிருந்த ஈரோடு IRT மருத்துவக் கல்லூரியில் G.O.84 மூலம் தற்போது பயிலும் மாணவர்களுக்கும் அரசு கட்டணம் ( ₹13,610/-)‌ நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்டு வசூலிக்கப்படுகிறது.

தவிர,நமது மாணவர்கள் சென்னை உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தை நாடி ஏற்கனவே அறிவிக்கப்பட்ட சுகாதாரத் துறையின் அரசாணைகள் செயல்படுத்தப்படும் என்று தீர்ப்பு பெறப்பட்டுள்ளது. (W.P.No: 7539/2021)

இதனிடையே கழக ஆட்சி பொறுப்பு ஏற்று சுகாதாரம், உயர்கல்வி மற்றும் நிதித் துறை அமைச்சர்கள், அதிகாரிகள் கூடி பழைய ஆண்டிற்கான கட்டணம் தனியார் கல்லூரிகளுக்கு இணையாகவும் , வரும் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு ஏற்கனவே‌ உள்ள G.O.45 படி அரசு கட்டணம் வசூலிக்கப்படும் என்றும் உறுதி அளிக்கப்பட்டது.
இந்நிலையில், மாணவர்களுக்கு பேர் அதிர்ச்சியாக, உயர் கல்வித்துறை 26/10/21அன்று G.O.204 வெளியிட்டு ஏற்கனவே நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்ட அரசு கட்டணத்தை மாற்றி அடுத்த 4 வருடங்களுக்கு மீண்டும் தனியார் கட்டணம்(4L) என்று அறிவித்துள்ளது.
இதே கல்லூரியில் 2021யில் சேர்ந்த முதலாம் ஆண்டு மாணவர்களுக்கு 13,610 என்ற அரசு கட்டணம் வசூலிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
ஒரே கல்லூரியில் இருவேறு கட்டணம் என்ற நிலை உருவாகியுள்ளது.
2021-22 கல்வியாண்டு முதல் இக்கல்லூரி மற்றும் மருத்துவமனையை அண்ணாமலை பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் இருந்து பிரித்து சுகாதாரத் துறையின் மருத்துவ கல்வி இயக்குனரகம் கீழ் முழுவதுமாக கொண்டு வரப்பட்டு இதற்கான அனைத்து செலவினங்களையும் சுகாதாரத் துறையே ஏற்றுள்ள போது, மீண்டும் அண்ணாமலை பல்கலைக்கழகம் கட்டணம் கோருகிறது, அதுவும் தனியாருக்கு நிகராக லட்சங்களில்...

இது தொடர்பாக பலமுறை அமைச்சர்கள், அதிகாரிகளை சந்தித்து முறையிட்ட போதும் தீர்வு ஏதும் கிடைகாத நிலையில்,
மாணவர்கள் நலன் மற்றும் சமூக நீதியை காத்துவரும் மாண்புமிகு முதலமைச்சர் அவர்கள் இப்பிரச்சனையில் நேரடியாக தலையிட்டு நிரந்தர தீர்வு காண வேண்டுகிறோம். ஆயிரத்திற்கும் மேற்பட்ட மருத்துவ மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் எங்கள் குடும்பத்தினரின் மன உளைச்சலை போக்கிட வழிவகை செய்யுங்கள் ஐயா.

Government Erode Medical college. The college was taken by the government on 2018.The fees of all other TN Government medical colleges is Rs.13,610 whereas the fees of our college is still in par with private medical colleges which is Rs.4, 11,110.The name of the college was also changed from IRT Perundurai Medical College to GOVERNMENT ERODE MEDICAL COLLEGE but the fees is still not reduced. So the UG students are protesting for the reduction of fees in coherence with other govt medical collage. The students have started indefinite strike from 5.2.2021
