*Atmagupta Tablet by Arya Vaidya Sala Kottakkal*
Atmagupta tablet is an Ayurvedic medicine primarily made from Mucuna pruriens (also known as Kapikacchu or Cowhage), a plant renowned in traditional medicine for its therapeutic effects on the nervous and reproductive systems.
Atmagupta tablet is effective in managing Parkinson’s disease primarily because it contains high levels of L-dopa (levodopa), a chemical that the brain converts into dopamine—a neurotransmitter that is deficient in Parkinson’s patients. This helps improve motor symptoms such as tremors, stiffness, and slowness of movement. Additionally, Atmagupta provides neuroprotective benefits by reducing inflammation and oxidative stress in the brain, which are key factors in the progression of Parkinson’s disease.
