Hear the success story of one of our Reversal patients, Shri. Sopan Kadam, who was suffering from Diabetes for 20 yrs before he first visited Madhavbaug Chinchwad clinic, back in 2018.
He initially complained of Dyspnoea on exertion (feeling breathless) and positional vertigo. He had already undergone angioplasty on 2 seperate occasions before he paid us a visit. His 2D echo suggested an ejection fraction of 50% suggesting of Ischemic Heart disease with Chronic Heart Failure. Treatment was started for the same as well as for diabetes and within the next 15 days itself, all oral hypoglycemic medicines were withdrawn. Up until now, despite no OHAs, his blood sugar levels are consistently within normal limits!
Thus, Shri. Sopan Kadam has successfully completed his Diabetes reversal journey and in February 2019, he cleared his OGTT, which says he is now non-diabetic.
What's worth appreciating in his journey, is the efforts taken by him despite the pandemic of 2019-2020! Not only that, but he also overcame a mild attack of Brain Paralysis in the midst of his reversal journey. Even during these trying times, he succeeded in maintaining sound health and as of today, Shri. Sopan Kadam continues to be free from Diabetes!
We wish him hearty congratulations and a healthy life ahead!
