In early July, Naga women gather in the fields to harvest foxtail millet using age old traditional methods.

They belong to the Konyak tribe, one of the major Naga tribes living in Mon district of Nagaland.

This footage is from Changlangshu village, located in the Monyakshu Circle of Mon district.

Here, traditional farming is not just practiced , it is preserved as a living heritage, passed down through generations.

With hands, heart, and harmony with nature, these women embody the enduring spirit of indigenous agriculture.
