Today, we came together to celebrate the birth anniversary of our beloved founder, Shri Krishnakumar Ji, whose vision and values continue to inspire us every single day.

This year, his birthday serendipitously coincides with Ayurveda Day, making the occasion even more meaningful. 💚✨

We had Dr Mala Kapadia, Dr Sreevaths, Dr Arathy, Dr Chandramouleeswaran, Dr Ilanchezhiyan, Dr Bhaskaran, Dr Roopa and Dr Ramanandan join us to make this event purposeful and complete.

We offered our heartfelt tribute to his life, work, and guidance, and celebrated Ayurveda — the science he devoted his life to nurturing — with gratitude and renewed commitment.

We thank All India Ayurvedic Congress for collaborating with us in organising this event.

From the Gurukula system to AVP Research Foundation, Dr. P. R. Krishnakumar believed that Ayurveda education must be holistic and transformative. Ayurveda Conversations honors this by bringing together students, teachers, and researchers to share and learn. In 1977, Dr. Krishnakumar implemented a seven and a half year curriculum for Ayurvedic studies, affiliated first to the University of Madras and later to Bharathiar University. The course included Ayurvedic studies, spiritual practices, traditional martial arts, and a gurukula-based living arrangement. This curriculum became known as the 'Coimbatore Experiment'.
