Saranya Ayurveda Hospital and AHET are established by Padma Shri PR Krishnakumar on a 30 acres campus which he believed will become a fulcrum for all authentic Ayurveda activities relating to clinical, educational, research and manufacturing services. The campus is located in Navakkarai, on Coimbatore - Palakkad Highway, in the foothills of Boluvampatty ranges of the Western Ghats, bestowed with beautiful nature and clean air. The healing quality of Nature and the presence of the Chottanikkara Temple make the campus, divine and serene. In our 66 room facility ranging from standard rooms to suits, we provide consultation with expert Vaidyas, traditional Kerala Ayurveda and Panchakarma therapies, Ayurveda diet prescribed by Physicians, Yoga, and other activities to patients. Being in the lap of Nature, in the foothills of Western Ghat mountain ranges, you experience the calmness of nature, the stillness of the air, and the movement of leaves. With your first step in, nature itself starts your healing. AYURVEDIC PRINCIPLES
Ayurvedic principles are always being holistic and do not reduce themselves to the level of systems or organs and specializations. But Ayurveda can be broadly divided into 8 divisions. The broad divisions of Ayurveda include
Kāyacikitsā - General Medicine
Kaumāra-bhṛtya - Paediatrics
Śalyatantra - Surgery
Śālākyatantra - ENT
Bhūtavidyā - Psychiatry
Agadatantra - Toxicology
Rasāyanatantra - deals with the rejuvenation of the body and
Vājīkaraṇatantra - deals with aphrodisiacs. Though none of these systems stand separately, the specializations paves way for more focused care and personalization while being holistic. Personalization also depends on many macros and micro factors like; the stage of disease/disorder, age, climatic zone, the physical and mental strength of the patient, etc. For these reasons, the treatments in Ayurveda have to be always under continuous monitoring by Ayurveda ‘Vaidya’ (Physician) who have a thorough knowledge of these principles and have the skill to diagnose these personal variations. Well trained Ayurveda therapists and pharmacists are also an important part of any Ayurvedic treatment.
