What to Do Immediately:

✅ Check responsiveness – tap their shoulders, call their name
✅ Monitor breathing & pulse – look for slow, irregular, or absent breathing
✅ Call emergency services right away (local helpline/ambulance)
✅ If unconscious but breathing, place in the recovery position
✅ If it’s an opioid overdose (like morphine, or certain painkillers), a medication called Naloxone can temporarily reverse its effects until help arrives

⚠️ Important: The person may relapse once Naloxone wears off. Medical attention is essential.

🚨 Warning Signs of Overdose:
Slow or no breathing
Blue lips or fingertips
Gurgling/choking sounds
Unconscious or unresponsive
Slow or irregular pulse
