🌍💪 Celebrating World Clinical Exercise Physiology Day 2025 at Banaras Hindu University!
Today, at the Sports & Exercise Medicine Lab, Department of Physiology, IMS-BHU, we joined hands with our Well-Being Services Cell, Student Welfare Centre, BHU, to celebrate hashtag .
More than 600 enthusiastic students participated in the session “Balance Beyond Books: Thrive & Strive – A Lifestyle Blueprint for Academic & Career Vitality.”
🔹 Dr. Hanjabam Barun Sharma spoke on the theoretical framework of health & wellness.
🔹 Dr. Ashish Kumar Gupta addressed the vital role of sleep and resolved student queries.
🔹 Dr. Ranjit Shandilya shared valuable insights on stress management through discipline and determination.
🔹 Dr. Shubham Srivastava highlighted the importance of rehabilitation and structured exercise following the surgical management of sports injuries.
🔹 Dr.Sankalp Jha shared insights from our lab on clinical exercise physiology, demonstrated hand grip dynamometer assessments, and discussed the importance of muscle strength, reaction time, positive lifestyle and fitness in enhancing both academic performance and overall well-being.
This event highlighted how Clinical Exercise Physiologists (CEPs) can empower students to balance study, health, and life, and how small interventions can build a strong foundation for long-term vitality.
