✨I want to share my experience in the Vaa Thamizha Vaa program.
The topic was How social media affects people. I participated as a person who is against social media, but I didn’t get the chance to speak my thoughts there, so I wish to share what I meant to say here.

I know many of you may think, “You are creating content on social media, then how can you be against it?” The thing is, I am not against social media, but I am against those who spread false or misleading information in the name of influencers.🎭

Many creators use their fame and pick some trendy mental health topics to make videos, but they don’t realize how it impacts a layman’s life.

Nowadays, people are talking about mental health, which is a very good thing, and I accept that it has created major awareness. But at the same time, because of false information, people are deeply suffering. Based on social media influence, they easily self-diagnose or misdiagnose themselves.

💡So, what I wanted to say is that content creators should be responsible before sharing their content, because it impacts many people’s lives.
