The Ganga Women and Child Care Centre conducted the 6th International Labor Congress at Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore. A three-day conference started on 16th June 2023 on the theme “Changing events in Labor management”.
This galaxy of the scientific summit was welcomed by Dr. Suma Natarajan- the Organizing Chairperson and Senior Consultant, HOD Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology– Ganga Women and Child Care Centre. The inaugural ceremony presided with the lighting of Kuthuvilakku by the dignitaries Mrs. Kanagavalli Shanmuganathan - Managing Director Ganga Hospital, Mrs. Nirmal Rajasababathy, Director Ganga Hospital, Mrs. Rama Rajasekaran, Trustee- Ganga Institute of Health Sciences, Dr. Suma Natarajan - organizing Chairperson, Senior Consultant, HOD- OB, Ganga Women & Child Care Centers, and other Dignitaries
The act of medicine is versatile. It changes and reforms with new evidence and practice to inveterate the scientific share. Considering the Need of the hour, this conference forum was set with a multi-faceted knowledge deliverance in four exclusive workshops, panel and reverse discussions, debates, various contests, etc.
Dr. Timothy Draycott- an International consultant obstetrician and about 30 nationally renowned speakers mastered the various scientific sessions.
The Chief Guest Dr. P.C. Mahapatra – Professor, Dept of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Cuttack, Odissa delivered a keynote about Simulation and Artificial Intelligence on the Labor and Delivery Floor. Dr. Anuradha Pichumani- Executive Director, Sree Ranga Hospital, Chengalpattu emphasized Quality Standards in Health Care.
The event was propitious and was reflected by more than 575 delegates including 30 faculties. Dr. P. Narmadha – Consultant Ganga Women and Child Care Centre proposed the vote of Thanks.
