Self-awareness *improves productivity* because it makes sure you are doing the *right thing* instead of doing a lot of things.

Research says 95% of people believe themselves to be self aware. But in reality only 10-15% are.

When you change yourself, the world around you changes.

Let's take an example of walking to the shop or market. You see, hear many things. Every input the mind receives from the sense organs are absorbed and stored. You appreciate some, disapprove of some, like some and dislike some. This likes, dislikes and your personality is what that makes this experience to the market a pleasurable trip or an unpleasant one. The way you persive your environment and how you react, what you react to makes your world. Changing our likes, dislikes and our personality you bring a shift in perspective, attitude, and behavior that ripple outwards, impacting your relationships, interactions, and experiences. By working on yourself, you can become more empathetic, understanding, and open-minded, which can positively influence how you engage with others and navigate the world.

Desire is a powerful force that propels human life forward, motivating individuals to pursue their goals and aspirations. It serves as the driving force behind our actions, pushing us to strive for betterment and growth. Through desire, we form attachments to people, places, objects and ideas that hold meaning to us, fostering connections. This attachment can provide a sense of belonging and purpose, fueling our progression and evolution as individuals on the same hand may become blocks in our progress making us rigid and closed, not letting us progress, grow and change.

Furthermore, desire plays a key role in personal development and the advancement of society as a whole. It encourages innovation and creativity, pushing us to explore new possibilities and push boundaries. By harnessing our desires, we can channel our energy towards positive outcomes, driving progress and evolution in various aspects of life. Ultimately, understanding and embracing our desires can lead to personal fulfillment and contribute to the collective growth of humanity.

To use desire to help us progress we must understand what is a our desire and where it stems from.

Yoga says that there are four kinds of desires that push us. All the desires can be grouped under these four categories.

They are

Puthreshana - desire for progeny

dareshana - desire for relationships

vitteshana - desire for wealth

lokeshana - desire for fame

The relationship between desire and stress is a complex one. While it is true that having strong desires can lead to increased stress levels, it is important to understand the underlying factors at play.
When we have strong desires or goals, we often put pressure on ourselves to achieve them, which can create a sense of urgency and drive. This sense of urgency can sometimes manifest as stress, especially if we feel overwhelmed or anxious about reaching our desired outcome.
On the other hand, having desires can also be motivating and fulfilling. It can give us a sense of purpose and direction in life. The key is to find a balance between pursuing our desires and managing our stress levels effectively. All desires are not harmful. The desires that we do not understand or do not how to fulfill causes stress. Remember, it's okay to have big desires, but it's also important to know,
1.What are my desires?
2.What is the cost I pay to attain them.(remember, nothing comes free)
3.How do these desires affect my body, mind and emotion?
4.Where do these desires stem from?
5.Which do I need?
These are a few introspective questions that may help you gain more clarity about your desire. Manage your desires as they are the first step to stress.
