National PMR Day – Achievements

On 9th July 2025, students of KMCH College of Occupational Therapy actively participated in the National PMR Day celebrations organized by Coimbatore Medical College Hospital. The event featured competitions such as drawing and poem writing in both English and Tamil.

A total of 30 students from KMCHCOT took part, with 9 students winning prizes in various categories, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm.

The Principal, Faculty, and Students of KMCHCOT extend their heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and participants for their commendable performance and proud representation of the institution.

KMCH College of Occupational Therapy celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm on June 21, 2025. The event aimed to promote physical and mental well-being through the practice of yoga.

Sessions Conducted:

1. Group Yoga Session (1 hour and 30 minutes):
Final year students led a group yoga session focusing on basic asanas, breathing techniques, and body awareness, actively engaging all participants.

2. Guest Lecture and Demonstration (30 minutes):
Dr. B.S. Nivetha, Director of Padmasoorya Naturopathy and Yoga Foundation, delivered a guest lecture on the significance of International Yoga Day. She also demonstrated practical relaxation techniques to over 400 students of KMCH Occupational Therapy and physiotherapy students, emphasizing the importance of integrating yoga into daily life for stress management and overall health.
