Crush avulsion injury of the index finger with full thickness skin loss and partial extensor loss .
Repair with a dorsal skin transposition flap with extensor tendon repair . Good results .

Incision and drainage with debridement done . Primary wound closure done with drain insitu .

Infected adventitious bursa ankle .
Excision and closure .

Adventitious bursa are small soft tissue fibrous pads or cushions formed under the skin in areas of friction by the underlying bone over the skin .
Examples are the outer side of the ankle , base of the first toe , elbow bony point , back of the heel etc .
These bursae can produce pain , get infected or become calcified .
Treatment is excision of the bursae and prevention of skin bone friction at the site by postural change or use of soft padding at pressure point .

Wound debridement with Skin grafting with plantar advancement flap done . Post op 72 hours .
Graft well taken and flap settled well .
