WITHIN A SHORT SPAN OF TIME, FITNESSONE HAS GROWN TO BE A NAME WITH INSTANT RECALL ON THE SOUTH INDIAN MIND. THE BEGINNING

In September 2004, FitnessOne India was instituted with a single gym and many visions. By September 2005, the single gym in Chennai's posh Alwarpet area began making its presence felt in six more locations, taking the count to seven. Interesting advertising brought crowds into its clubs, but bright, chirpy interiors, top class scientifically formulated exercise training and world leading equipment kept clients happy. They became brand ambassadors and the FitnessOne word spread. Not happy to rest laurels, other related divisions were launched. WOMEN GET MORE POWER

By late 2006, plans were afoot to open a new brand of gyms. Like no other in India. Pink - the fitness centre for women only became top priority. An interest in opening up franchises lead to the opening up business and employment opportunities. OFFICE SPACES BECOME FIT

A dedicated team of strong fitness advocates, backed by years of studied research lead to FitnessOne opening up on work campuses. The FPO (Fitness Process Outsourcing) division was born. EQUIPMENT ENERGY

Early 2007 saw fitness equipment coming under the FitnessOne umbrella in the form of a new brand name - Propel. The division - called FitnessOne Factory - sells different brands of home and commercial equipment. FITNESSONE CARES

Besides the commercial aspect of exercise and health, FitnessOne has created a division just to spread the goodness of exercise. As a first step, CSR or Corporate Social Responsibility has launched an Anti Obesity Programme in a small school in Chennai. Plans to conduct Sports Extravaganzas for the less fortunate school children are a foot.
