Look for Readiness: Ensure your baby can sit up with support and has lost the tongue-thrust reflex.

Start Single-Ingredient Purees: Begin with smooth, thin textures—iron-fortified rice cereal, pureed lentils, or single vegetables/fruits (like avocado or sweet potato) are great first choices.

Introduce One at a Time: Wait 3-5 days between new foods to easily spot any allergic reactions.

Keep it Positive: Use a small spoon, offer food when they are alert (not too tired or hungry), and let them guide the pace.

Remember, breastmilk or formula remains their primary source of nutrition!
