Uncemented Total Hip Replacement done in 9 month old operated case of Fracture Neck of Femur with Avascular Necrosis of Femoral head in a 56 year old lady.

Post operatively patient is mobilized and is walking painfree.

Successful Uncemented Total Hip Replacement done in a 74 year old lady suffering with TB of left hip. Patient was bedridden for 15 days and was unable to walk or bear weight on the affected limb.
Post operatively after 1 week she has full pain relief and is walking full weight bearing.
Joint replacement surgery is a wonderful treatment modality with fantastic outcome once done perfec tly.

Forty three year male presented after sustaining injury to his right shoulder,
proximal end humerus shattered to multiple pieces.
PHILOS plating via Deltopectoral approach was done with meticulous preservation of rotator cuff muscles by securing them to plate via ethibond no. 5.
Stable reconstruction was achieved per op.

Hip Salvage in elderly septagenerian female patient is always a challenge and there is always debate on whether to salvage or replace. But once decision of salvaging it was made, and you see patient coming happily walking on their limb, greeting you with smile on their face, gives an ultimate kick.

My take on fighting the menace of Fibromyalgia syndrome published in Times of India. With inputs from other renowned orthopaedic colleagues from Bihar.
Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain, fatigue, and sleep disturbances, with a higher prevalence in women. It's often described as a dull ache that persists for at least three months and is felt on both sides of the body and above and below the waist. While there's no cure, treatment focuses on managing symptoms through medication, exercise, and therapy.

Sharing a case of a 42 years old male patient, Suffering with Giant cell tumour/ Osteoclastoma of distal femur. Patient underwent tumour resection and Megaprosthesis reconstruction. Patient is walking full weight bearing from next day of surgery.
