This little fighter had a rough start — admitted to the NICU with severe perinatal asphyxia, but discharged stable and strong. 💪🏼✨
Weeks later, he wasn’t gaining weight as expected. Neurological examination and Imaging were normal. The answer wasn’t in the baby — but in the mother. His mother was silently battling postpartum depression. 💔
With timely support and treatment for her, everything changed. She began to heal, and so did her baby. 💛
This journey is a powerful reminder: a baby’s well-being is deeply linked to a mother’s mental health. Let’s keep looking beyond the obvious, and never hesitate to ask, “How are you doing, mama?”
