Know how to protect your skin & hairs from colours..!

1. Try to use herbal colours, it is easily available in market.

2. For face..
Put adequate moisturizer/ olive oil over face as the lowest layer, over this apply a good SPF sunscreen.
You can apply some waterproof make up on face and neck as last layer and a long stay lipstick on lips, to make sure that colours won't stick to your skin.

4. For hairs..
Oil your hairs or apply gel till the tips.
You can also wash your scalp before oiling and put a good conditioner. This will protect your hairs from damage and dryness.
Tie your hairs up like a bun if you are not willing to play with water.

5. For nails..
Soak your nails in olive oil.
Put thick coat of nail paint.
Apply Vaseline under and over the nails.

6. Avoid any kind of face treatment a week prior to Holi like chemical peels or laser treatment and Avoid any waxing, shaving, bleach a day before holi.

7. Beware of cuts and wounds. Cover them with bandage before you go out for fun.

8. Avoid too much sun exposure.

9. Do not wear contact lenses in eyes.

10. Do not stay in clothes wet with harsh chemicals for long. Wet clothes makes your skin more susceptible to absorb chemicals.

11. While playing colours incase you feel itchy or burning, splash the area with cold water immediately. Apply lacto calamine lotion.
