Yoga is far more than physical postures — it is a profound philosophy that guides us toward conscious, balanced, and harmonious living. 🕉️ "शुद्ध शरीर, शुद्ध मन, शुद्ध श्वास – यही है योग का सार।"

Jalneti is one of the six yogic purification techniques (Shatkarma) described in Hatha Yoga Pradipika.

🧘‍♂️ Crow Pose (Bakasana) – Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Starting Position:
Begin in Malasana (Garland Pose) — a deep squat with feet slightly apart, knees wide, and palms together at your heart center. Take a few deep breaths.

2. Hand Placement:
• Place your palms flat on the floor, shoulder-width apart.
• Spread your fingers wide for better grip and balance.
• Keep your arms slightly bent, elbows pointing backward.

3. Engage and Lift:
• Come onto the balls of your feet.
• Bring your knees to the backs of your upper arms (close to your armpits if possible).
• Shift your weight slowly forward into your hands.

4. Balance:
• Look slightly forward (not down) to maintain balance.
• Lift one foot off the floor, then the other.
• Engage your core muscles and keep your knees pressing into your arms.

5. Hold the Pose:
• Keep your breath steady.
• Stay for 5–10 seconds to start, and gradually increase as your balance improves.

6. Release:
• Gently shift your weight back and return to a squat position.
• Relax your wrists and shake out your hands.

• Keep your gaze forward, not down — it helps balance.
• Engage your core and inner thighs.
• Don’t rush; balance comes with practice.
• Use a soft surface (yoga mat or folded blanket) under your face for safety when learning.
