DSEK : Descemt's Stripping Endothelial Keratoplasty.

This is a lamellar corneal transplant procedure wherein only the diseased layer of the cornea is replaced.

In this case its the Corneal Endothelium which was traumatised after a cataract surgery. Hence, full thickness transplant was not needed. Only the innermost endothelial layer was replaced. The patients vision was successfully restored.
