Join us in congratulating our Dr. Sarathlal Koyiloth Vayalil, Assistant Professor, for being invited by Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY) to conduct experiments at their PETRA III research laboratory. This project is funded by the Department of Science and Technology, India, as part of their India @ DESY Program. UPES faculty have a strong and long running collaboration with DESY Group and we are elated with this invitation and look forward to learning from Dr. Sarathlal’s experience and insights.

We’re proud to share that Dr. Rajesh Tripathi, Associate Professor, and Dr. Hiranmoy Roy, Sr. Associate Professor, were invited as expert speakers by Doordarshan (DD) Uttarakhand. Moderated by Mr. Raghuvesh Pandey, Director, DD Dehradun, the panel discussion was focused on “Atmanirbhar Bharat and An Opportunity for Youth.” This discussion was primarily based on the initiatives being taken by the Modi Government for the state of Uttrakhand and took the viewers through the need for self-reliance in India, infrastructure development in Uttarakhand, support provided to entrepreneurs by UPES’ incubation cell, and a lot more. We look forward to learning more from Dr. Rajesh and Dr. Hiranmoy’s insights and expertise!
