When we use a room heater in winter, we often don’t realise it can be harmful. It can affect your health in many ways. When the heater runs through the night, the air inside the room becomes very dry. This dryness leads to several issues like dry skin, dry eyes and disturbed sleep. Some people even experience dryness in the nose, and in a few cases, it can cause nosebleeds.
Here are a few quick tips:
1. Keep a small bowl of water in the room at night. It helps reduce dryness and prevents dehydration.
2. Apply ghee in the nostrils before going to bed
3. Use Sesame oil to do foot sole massage before going to bed.
4. Don’t keep the heater running at a high temperature. Use night mode or a lower setting, otherwise the room can become overheated, which is unsafe for you.
